1. Overview / Allgemeines

This platform generally does not collect or process personal data beyond what is required for the service you use (account, payment, practice progress). Personal data is never sold, never shared with third parties for marketing, and never used to train AI models.

2. Data we process

• Account data: email address and password hash, only if you register.
• Payment data: processed by Stripe (payment provider); no card data is stored on our servers.
• Practice progress: stored to provide progress tracking and adaptive learning.
• Server logs: technical data (IP, user agent) handled by the hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.

3. AI Tutor

The AI Tutor is an AI system within the meaning of the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689). When you request an explanation, the question text and your answer are transmitted to OpenAI Ireland Ltd. as the data processor solely for the purpose of generating that explanation. No name, account data or email address is transmitted. OpenAI does not use API input or output data for model training and does not retain it beyond the short processing window (see OpenAI's API data usage terms). Processing may take place on servers in the EU and, for some requests, in the USA; such transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses. A human-written fallback explanation is always available if the AI Tutor is unavailable or disabled.

4. Analytics

The platform uses privacy-friendly, self-hosted analytics without cookie tracking.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability (GDPR Art. 15–20), and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact: spam@tobias-weiss.org
