Practice Categories
| Category | Count | Examples |
|---|---|---|

| Technical Management | 3 | Infrastructure & Platform, Software Dev & Management, Deployment |
Key Service Management Practices
Incident Management
Maximizes service quality by restoring normal service operation as quickly as possible.
Problem Management
Finds root causes of incidents and prevents recurrence through known errors and workarounds.
Change Enablement
Maximizes successful IT changes while protecting the environment from unauthorized changes.
Continual Improvement
Aligns practices and services with changing business needs — everyone's responsibility.
Exam Tips
- Know the purpose of each major practice
- Distinguish incident (restore service) from problem (find root cause)
